DiPlacido Development Corp.develops land for its most suitable use, while at the same time, setting aside open space for public enjoyment where ever possible. Its end product is unique homes and attractive quality commercial space. It is DDC's intention to reserve land as part of any project for quiet use and enjoyment. This not only helps our environment, but makes these parcels attractive to the eye, whether they are for commercial or residential properties.
Vision
DiPlacido Development Corporation (DDC) started in 1992 as a residential building company concentrating on single family homes. Since that date, DDC has expanded into being a development/general construction firm. From bringing raw land through the permitting process, construction of the infrastructure and building single family residential homes as well as commercial buildings, DDC prides itself in bringing projects from start to finish.
Thomas W. DiPlacido, Jr. is the President, who is assisted by three other management team members.
Goals
In the future, DDC plans to offer residential homes to a broad range of people - from first time homebuyers, to move-up buyers and active adults. In developing large tracts of land, it is our goal to establish a neo-traditional neighborhood where small retail and service establishments are within walking distance of residences. It is our belief that future development should have a mixed use approach which incorporates small businesses, residential homes and conservation land in it's locus. In our busy lives, people need to have a "Spirit of Place", and it is our objective to create these neighborhoods that can be called "home".
