I would just like to say that living at the Village at River's Edge is better than I ever expected.
Today was my 60 day "Check up" or "Tune Up" or whatever you call it. Mike and his crew showed up right on time and immediately put down drop cloths to cover the lovely wooden floors and got right to work looking for things to fix. There really wasn't all that much, just a few things from settling and the bumps and bruises of moving. Really quite painless. Mike even fixed the closet doors that I hadn't added to my list. He really goes the extra mile.
When all was said and done we went into the basement where I pointed out a small amount of moisture that I noticed from this mornings rains near the sliding door. He went outside and said that he would be back tomorrow, when its dry and would put sealant along the exterior foundation where its settled. And we talked about the area in the backyard where the rock border seems to abruptly end and then begin again about 25 feet later. He said once the ground firms up (summertime) he'll see if he can drop some of the smaller boulders over here to finish it off. What a good man you have representing DDC.
I just want to say how impressed I am with their professionalism. Kudos to Mike -- he really goes the extra mile to make sure we're all happy to live here.
I also told Mike that if anyone would like to see how the French doors look inside a unit or check out the cedar closet installation I would be more than happy to show them.
And I can't forget Earl. Earl is very attentive to my needs either over the phone or via the Internet.

Hope all is well with you. I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know what people are saying about this home. Our friends and people from the neighborhood are starting to come by.
The first reaction is, "What is this?!" They are looking for me to say it is a Montgomery or something else. They can't believe how custom and well laid out it is. Second is the view. I don't know why no one realized we have a view. Third are the archways. Everyone LOVES the three archways in the hallway. I tell everyone that you came up with the idea. I have two beautiful antique chairs in the hall that really send everyone over the edge. After the archways, people start noticing the details -- in the cabinets, colors, moldings, flooring, etc. Everyone loves how the home is so spacious, but warm at the same time. Some people have even come over a couple of times to show their friends. People are stunned!!
I wish you could hear the reactions yourself!! I will keep you posted. I feel like I live in a magazine layout!!

I can honestly say that I have lived in Massachusetts for eight years now and have never felt “at home” Well, since moving onto Weetamoo Way, I finally can call Massachusetts my home (and that is a lot coming from a true New Yorker). Not only is Wampanoag Estates a wonderful neighborhood, Wrentham seems to be all we were looking for in a community to raise our family.
